Planning Your Poshak Collection

Start with the essentials

Begin your collection with a versatile set of 7 daily-wear poshak (one for each day) in cotton or light silk. Then add special occasion poshak for the major festivals: Janmashtami, Diwali, Holi and Navratri.

Plan seasonally

Keep lighter fabrics like cotton, chanderi and georgette for summer (April-August) and warmer fabrics like velvet and heavy silk for winter (November-February). Brocade and satin work well year-round.

Coordinate with your singhasan decor

When buying new poshak, consider how they will look with your singhasan backdrop. A cohesive colour palette between the poshak and the temple decoration creates a much more beautiful overall aesthetic.

Buy festival poshak in advance

Popular festival designs sell out quickly, especially for Janmashtami and Diwali. Order your special occasion poshak at least 2-3 weeks before the festival to avoid last-minute disappointment.

Prepare Your Thakurji for Every Festival

Browse our collections, put together for every season and celebration. From daily cotton sets to grand Janmashtami specials, we have the perfect poshak for your Kanha Ji.
